Job Summary
The Digital Finance Business Analyst supports the development & delivery of data and analytics products in the Digital Finance team within FP&A. This role supports the implementation of global finance processes across Lonza's CDMO sites and is pivotal in driving and supporting the digitalization of the Finance function. The ideal candidate is a skilled Power BI Developer with a deep understanding of SAP ERP Finance and Controlling (FICO) processes and underlying data structures. This role will focus on designing and developing Power BI dashboards that leverage SAP financial and operational data to support site-level finance operations, performance, and decision-making. The role bridges the gap between finance teams and technical systems, translating complex SAP data into clear, actionable insights for site controllers and finance leaders.
Job Description
- Collaborate closely with site finance, controlling and global process owners to understand reporting requirements and translate them into intuitive Power BI solutions.
- Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI that are focused on site finance, cost management, and performance tracking.
- Build data models and analytical solutions using data sourced directly from SAP ERP FI & CO modules.
- Automate repetitive business processes using Power Automate, enhancing operational efficiency.
- Translate complex financial data into accessible reports for non-financial stakeholders.
- Provide user support and training for finance and site control teams to maximize report adoption and data literacy.
- Continuously improve dashboard usability, consistency, and alignment with global finance standards.
- Support data governance, data quality, and compliance efforts across projects.
