About Value at Void
- Value at Void is an award-winning strategic design studio. We fill the gap between creative vision and technical reality, combining narrative-led branding with full-stack engineering into one coherent system. Our designers understand React architecture. Our engineers understand typography. We've built for Y Combinator startups and Fortune 500s like L'Oréal, Snapchat, TopTal, and many more.
This is a hybrid role, equal parts: brand and product. You'll work across client branding, website design, and app design as one connected discipline, not three separate briefs. At VAV, the designer who touches the brand identity is the same one who carries it into the product. That's the standard. We're looking for someone who meets it.
Responsibilities
- Design brand identities: From visual strategy and identity systems through to full rollout across touchpoints.
- Design and build websites in Framer, owning both the visual and the build.
- Own product and app design in Figma: Wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI mockups.
- Work across active client projects spanning branding, digital product, and marketing collateral.
- Maintain visual and brand consistency across every deliverable, every touchpoint.
- Guide and review work from junior designers; conduct design reviews with clarity and intent.
- Contribute to design systems and brand guidelines that scale.
Requirements
- 2-4 years of experience across brand and product design (mandatory).
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Figma, and Framer.
- A portfolio with real range: Brand identity, digital product, and web design. Not just one lane.
- Strong design taste. You know what good looks like, and you can explain why.
- Experience with client-facing projects: You understand how to translate a brief into a vision.
- Ability to guide junior designers and hold a high standard across the team.
- Fluency with AI design tools: You use them to move faster, not to think less.
- Formal design education preferred. We're not here to teach foundations.
- Bonus: Motion graphics or animation, and creative writing.
What This Isn't
A role for designers who stay in one lane. If your portfolio is all UI or all branding, this isn't the right fit. We need someone who moves between disciplines without losing quality in either.
