Design RTL modules of high-speed signal processing digital logic with VHDL, for point-to-point radio systems operating at microwaves or at millimeter waves.
ACTIVITIES
- • Proactively review functional specifications
- • Develop RTL modules
- • Develop testbenches and regression tests
- • Prototype using FPGA
- • Develop laboratory scripts for test automation and interaction with the modules
- • Write detailed documentation of the developed modules using text, block diagram, flow charts
PROFILE
- Preferred technical skills:
- • Knowledge of Matlab/Simulink or equivalent tools
- • Scripting languages
- • Design of digital electronic systems on FPGA/ASIC
- • VHDL for synthesizable modules and for testbenches
- • Basic knowledge of digital communication systems
- • Familiarity with Digital Signal processing algorithms
- • FPGA/ASIC design flow: synthesis, timing analysis, analysis of resource utilization
- Soft skills: attitude to teamwork, effective communication, proactivity.
Minimum Requirements:
- The candidate must have a Bachelor Degree or a Master Degree in Computer Engineering or related field. System level Validation experience in FPGA, ASIC, CPU or custom IC designs. Strong self-initiative and persistence with ability to deal with ambiguity to focus and achieve end goals. The candidate must have a high focus on discipline in execution, a relentless pursuit of quality and excellent customer orientation.
