ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Digital Counsellor to join our growing team. In this role, you
will guide prospective students through their study abroad journey entirely via digital platforms such as Zoom,
Google Meet, and MS Teams. You will be the first point of contact for students seeking guidance on overseas
education options, from initial inquiry to final enrollment. This is a high-impact, student-facing role suited to
someone who is passionate about international education and thrives in a virtual consulting environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Online Student Counselling
• Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions with students via Zoom, Google Meet, or MS Teams.
• Understand student profiles, academic backgrounds, career goals, and financial capacity to recommend
the best-fit study destinations and universities.
• Guide students through the entire study abroad process — from shortlisting universities to visa preparation.
• Handle a high volume of digital inquiries and convert leads into enrolled students.
Study Abroad Guidance
• Provide accurate and up-to-date information on universities, courses, eligibility criteria, scholarships, and
admission procedures across UK, Germany, Canada, Europe, and other destinations.
• Advise students on English proficiency requirements (IELTS, TOEFL, PTE) and assist in planning their test
preparation journey.
• Explain visa documentation requirements, financial proofs, and SOP/LOR preparation.
• Stay updated on changes in immigration policies, university deadlines, and scholarship opportunities.
Lead Management & Conversion
• Follow up with assigned leads promptly and systematically through calls, emails, and online sessions.
• Maintain accurate student records, session notes, and conversion status in the CRM system.
• Achieve monthly and quarterly enrollment targets set by management.
• Coordinate with internal teams (visa, documentation, operations) to ensure smooth student onboarding.
Digital Engagement
• Participate in online webinars, virtual education fairs, and live Q&A sessions to engage prospective
students.
• Collaborate with the content and social media teams to contribute to informative digital content.
• Provide feedback on student queries and trends to help shape the digital counselling strategy.
REQUIREMENTS
• Bachelor's degree in any discipline (preferably in Education, Commerce,).
• 1–3 years of experience in overseas education counselling or a related student-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of study abroad destinations — UK, Canada, Germany, Europe, Australia preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Proficiency in conducting sessions via Zoom, Google Meet, or MS Teams.
• Ability to manage multiple student profiles simultaneously and meet conversion targets.
• Empathetic, patient, and student-centric approach to counselling.
• Comfortable working in a target-driven digital environment.
GOOD TO HAVE
• Prior experience using CRM tools for lead tracking and management.
• Knowledge of IELTS, TOEFL, PTE, GRE, or GMAT test formats.
• Familiarity with university application portals (UCAS, Uni-Assist, etc.).
• Experience conducting webinars or online group sessions for student audiences.
• Multilingual communication skills (Hindi, Gujarati, or regional languages).
