DevOps Engineer

Location: Bangalore

Role Overview

The DevOps Consultant supports the implementation, operation, and continuous improvement of DevOps practices.

This role focuses on CI/CD execution, automation, environment management, and operational stability, working under the guidance of the DevOps Lead and in close collaboration with development, data engineering, and platform operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

. Implement and support CI/CD pipelines for data ingestion, configurations, and application components
. Automate build, deployment, testing, and release processes
. Support environment management across DEV, TEST, UAT, and PROD
. Assist in Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) implementation and maintenance
. Configure and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems
. Support incident resolution and troubleshooting with platform and operations teams
. Ensure adherence to established DevOps standards, tools, and processes
. Document pipelines, procedures, and operational guidelines
Mandatory Skillset

. Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or DevOps Consultant
. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub, GitLab, etc.)
. Strong experience in building CI/CD pipelines end-to-end from scratch
. Working knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
. Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, ARM, Bicep, etc.)
. Understanding of automation, monitoring, logging, and alerting practices
. Experience supporting platform-based or data-driven solutions
. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Preferred Skillset

. Exposure to Cognite Data Fusion (CDF) or similar data/analytics platforms
. Experience in Energy, Oil & Gas, or Industrial domains
. Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
