Role Overview
The incumbent shall be responsible for ensuring successful communication development of select brands & their sales target, in line with the needs of the customer and the objectives of the business. He/she shall develop the brand communication, creative representation for end consumers and develop content for propagation through digital channels including social media.
Responsibilities
Social Media Ownership:
- Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies aligned with brand, marketing, and business objectives.
- Define channel-specific growth roadmaps (Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, X, YouTube, etc.).
- Establish KPIs across awareness, engagement, conversion, and community growth.
- Track, analyze, and report performance metrics using social listening and analytics tools.
- Monitor trends, competitor activities, and emerging platform opportunities.
- Oversee audience engagement, response management, and escalation protocols.
Influencer Management:
- Develop influencer marketing strategy aligned with brand objectives.
- Identify and onboard relevant influencers (macro, micro, KOLs, niche experts).
- Evaluate influencers based on audience quality, engagement authenticity, brand fit, and compliance requirements.
- Manage end-to-end influencer lifecycle: outreach, negotiation, briefing, contracting, and deliverables tracking.
- Define influencer KPIs (reach, engagement, conversions, sentiment).
- Track campaign effectiveness and ROI.
- Maintain influencer database and performance benchmarking framework.
- Monitor reputational risks and manage crisis scenarios if required.
Platform Hygiene:
- Ensure all social media accounts adhere to brand, legal, and regulatory guidelines.
- Maintain updated bio descriptions, disclaimers, and necessary compliance statements.
- Monitor and enforce content approval workflows.
- Maintain access control, password governance, and admin rights management.
- Ensure consistent branding across profile images, banners, and highlights.
- Conduct periodic audits of platform performance and compliance status.
- Monitor comments, tags, and mentions for inappropriate or non-compliant content.
- Escalate and manage potential reputational or regulatory risks.
Others
- Vendor Management, creating agency pitch briefs and sourcing new vendors
- Internal coordination with various support functions like finance, legal etc.
Profile Requirement
- Education: Bachelor's degree from any stream. Master's or Marketing degree would be preferred
- Work Experience: Minimum 3+ years work experience in digital marketing space
- Required pre-requisites skills/experience for this position: Proficiency with MS Office, Brand Health Tools, Digital Media metrics
