Digital Cloud Architect

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for migrating applications and workloads to the cloud
• Collaborate with business leads and product owners to gather requirements and define architectural patterns
• Create and maintain automation playbooks for managing containers, cloud services, and applications
• Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues between applications and cloud platforms (PaaS/IaaS)
• Research and propose AWS solutions for data transformation, integration, and operational frameworks
• Partner with lead architects and engineers to create architectural templates and documentation
• Support DevOps and engineering teams in developing service catalogs and automation pipelines

Must-Have Skills

• Strong expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) and related cloud technologies
• Proficient in programming and scripting languages such as Node.js, Python, Ruby, Shell, and PowerShell
• Experience in building and deploying cloud-native applications and services
• Familiarity with microservices architecture, serverless computing (e.g., Lambda), and managed databases
• Understanding of large-scale system design, networking, and infrastructure components
• Experience configuring load balancers, VPCs, cloud networking, and virtual servers
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for cross-functional collaboration

Nice-to-Have

• AWS Cloud Certification (e.g., Solutions Architect Associate or Professional)
