Summary:
The role involves designing and building data management capabilities, implementing testing frameworks, and optimizing data models for efficiency and reliability. The candidate will work closely with business stakeholders in IST and US - PST time zones and is expected to work from the office a few days a week.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build data management capabilities including data models, ETL processes, integration pipelines, and data architecture requirements.
- Implement frameworks for automated and scripted testing.
- Optimize and document deployment of data models for greater efficiency and reliability.
- Assist with ad hoc data investigations, analysis, and new data source discovery.
- Build cross-functional relationships with data analytics teams and business leaders to understand requirements and data needs.
- Interact with internal and external teams to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Provide insights regarding marketing campaign effectiveness and develop automated reporting processes.
- Execute sophisticated attribution and incremental studies leveraging large-scale data.
- Analyze data to drive improvements across the organization and increase customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities for business process improvements and make recommendations.
Requirements:
- 8 years of experience in quantitative data analysis.
- Experience with data modeling and ETL development.
Required Skills:
- Advanced SQL query writing and performance tuning.
- Database experience with advanced SQL or SQL-like skills (Hadoop-Hive).
- Strong working knowledge of data visualization tools like Tableau.
- Ability to communicate information effectively to various groups at different levels.
- Strong analytical problem-solving, priority setting, facilitation, multi-tasking, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience researching and manipulating complex and large data sets.
- Working knowledge of data and statistical analysis.
