Could you be the full-time Digital Bid Technical Manager in [LOCATION] we're looking for
Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your engineering expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside passionate, motivated, and dedicated teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in managing the Bid Technical activities and ensuring the successful completion of digital cross-functional tasks that meet customer requirements and Quality Cost Delivery Performance (QCDP) objectives during project execution. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Digital Services departments, Bid teams, and Commercial Directors), manage governance processes, and much more.
You'll specifically take care of tender planning, digital scoping, and alignment with contractual requirements, but also customer management and contract discussions with third parties.
We'll look to you for:
- Securing tender initialization for the Digital Tender Kick-off
- Setting up governance with Digital stakeholders
- Monitoring key dimensions of the tender for Digital Work Packages (WPs)
- Providing strategic arbitration and supporting solution optimization
- Managing alignment with contractual requirements and variation orders
- Coordinating customer feedback and modifications with relevant stakeholders
- Supporting discussions with license providers and third parties

- Degree in Engineering or equivalent on-work experience
- Minimum 5 years in a managing position in an operational environment, preferably in digital solutions
- Experience working in multi-national companies and diverse business cultures
- Knowledge of bid management, project management processes, and digital technology in the railway industry
- Understanding of railway products and systems
- Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills
- Ability to orchestrate cross-functional activities in a multi-cultural environment
- Rigorous, autonomous, and quick at learning complex technical topics
- Proficiency in English
