Job Summary

The Marketing Technology team is dedicated to managing and executing within the enterprise digital marketing technology platforms and associated services, as well as consulting with stakeholders to enable a broad set of business goals using digital marketing technologies. This role will provide strategy, consultation, execution, and administration of our digital asset management system. Additionally, this role ensures optimal organization, governance, and accessibility of digital assets while maintaining metadata standards and enabling efficient asset utilization across the organization.

Essential Job Functions

  • Lead the organization, categorization, and maintenance of digital assets within the Digital Asset Management (DAM) system. Develop and enforce metadata standards, taxonomy structures, and naming conventions. Provide consulting and technical expertise (be a technical SME for DAM) within a matrixed team structure. - (50%)
  • Manage governance policies for digital assets. Train and support users on DAM best practices and workflows. Create and maintain documentation for asset management processes and system functionality. - (20%)
  • Conduct regular audits of digital asset libraries to ensure compliance with brand standards, copyright requirements, and data retention policies. Identify and resolve asset quality issues, duplicates, and outdated content. Coordinate with legal and compliance teams on rights management and usage tracking. - (15%)
  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in digital asset management, content operations, and library science. Evaluate and recommend improvements to DAM/CMS platforms and workflows. - (10%)
  • Develop strong business relationships with internal clients: Information Technology, Creative Services, Marketing, Legal, and Compliance teams. Collaborate with content creators, designers, and marketers to understand asset needs and optimize discoverability and reusability of digital content. - (5%)

Minimum Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree in library science, information management, marketing, computer information systems; or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • 8+ years of experience working with enterprise DAM platforms (Adobe Experience Manager Assets, Bynder, Widen, Aprimo, or similar).
  • 3+ years of experience working with Content Management Systems such as Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, or similar platforms.

Work Environment

  • Normal office environment. (Remote or Hybrid), 3 to 4 days per month are required in office if within 60 miles of a posted Bread Financial location.
