Diffusion Equipment Engineer

We are looking for an experienced Diffusion Equipment Engineer to support the installation, hook-up, qualification, and maintenance of diffusion and thermal processing equipment in a 300 mm semiconductor fab. The role involves hands-on equipment engineering, coordination with equipment vendors, management of equipment data, and support for pumps and abatement systems.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and support the installation, hook-up, and qualification of diffusion and thermal processing equipment in a 300 mm fab, including managing T1–T3 qualification stages and ensuring equipment readiness.
• Troubleshoot diffusion equipment and support processes such as boron diffusion, reflow, alloying, and curing, where applicable, while coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance (PM/CM) activities and supporting pumps and abatement systems.
• Maintain equipment data and ensure accurate documentation of equipment installation, qualification, maintenance, and related activities.
• Coordinate with external equipment vendors and internal facilities, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve technical issues, manage installation activities, and ensure project timelines are met.
• Train local maintenance technicians in preventive and corrective maintenance procedures, provide technical guidance, and facilitate knowledge transfer to strengthen local equipment maintenance capabilities.

Mandatory Skills:

• Minimum 5 years of semiconductor industry experience.
• Hands-on experience with 300 mm semiconductor equipment.
• Experience with diffusion furnaces or related thermal processing equipment.
• Knowledge of equipment installation, hook-up, qualification, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with pumps, abatement systems, and equipment troubleshooting.
• Experience with preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM).
