Role Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough nutritional assessments for clients to identify dietary needs.
- Develop individualized diet plans tailored to client preferences and health conditions.
- Educate clients about nutritional guidelines and healthy eating habits.
- Monitor clients progress and adjust diet plans as necessary!
- Provide support and motivation to clients during their dietary journey.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to create a multidisciplinary approach to client care.
- Keep up to date with the latest research in nutrition and dietary practices.
- Lead workshops and seminars on nutrition and wellness for community groups.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding dietary concerns in a timely manner.
- Document and maintain accurate records of client progress and consultations.
- Participate in community outreach programs promoting healthy eating habits.
- Conduct group sessions on meal planning and preparation.
- Assist in developing promotional content for Medico Hub Connect's dietary programs.
- Stay informed about local food resources and nutrition trends.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nutrition or Dietetics.
- Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential is preferred.
- Proven experience as a dietitian or nutrition consultant.
- Excellent understanding of nutritional science and dietary requirements.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well with diverse clients.
- Experience in creating nutrition-related educational materials.
- Proficiency in health-related software and applications.
- Certifications in specialized dietary fields are an asset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and planning skills.
- Willingness to participate in continuous education and training.
- Knowledge of local health resources and support services.
- Commitment to promoting sustainable, healthful eating practices.
