Description
We are seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have experience in maintaining and repairing diesel engines, ensuring that all vehicles operate efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
- Diagnose mechanical issues using electronic diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on vehicles and machinery.
- Replace faulty parts and components, including fuel injectors, pumps, and filters.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance tasks.
Skills and Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 0-5 years of experience in diesel mechanics or heavy vehicle maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of diesel engine systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for engine analysis.
- Familiarity with vehicle electrical systems and electronic control units (ECUs).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
