Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Diamond Merchandiser at VGL Group, located in Mumbai. The Diamond Merchandiser will be responsible for analyzing market trends, managing diamond merchandising operations, collaborating with the design and production teams, and ensuring an efficient supply chain for diamond procurement. Key responsibilities include maintaining quality standards, pricing strategies, evaluating inventory, and reinforcing customer satisfaction through effective collaboration with sales, marketing, and retail teams.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams and external partners.
• Customer Service abilities to understand and cater to client preferences, ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Experience in Sales and Retail with knowledge of sales strategies tailored to the jewellery industry.
• Understanding of Marketing principles to help align product offerings with customer demand and market trends.
• Analytical skills and attention to detail for optimizing procurement processes and maintaining quality assurance.
• Proficiency in inventory management and an understanding of diamond sourcing and pricing methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Fashion, or a related field; experience in the jewellery industry is a plus.
