Freelance DIALux Lighting Design Engineer
Position: Freelance / Project-Based
Job Overview
We are looking for a Freelance DIALux Lighting Design Engineer to support our architectural and commercial lighting projects on a project-by-project basis. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in DIALux Evo and be capable of delivering accurate lighting calculations, layouts, and professional lighting reports within specified timelines.
Responsibilities
- Develop lighting designs and simulations using DIALux Evo.
- Prepare lux level calculations and lighting layouts for indoor and outdoor projects.
- Design lighting solutions for residential, commercial, industrial, landscape, facade, and street lighting applications.
- Generate detailed lighting reports and technical documentation.
- Recommend suitable luminaires based on project requirements and standards.
- Review architectural and electrical drawings to create optimized lighting plans.
- Coordinate remotely with our team to understand project requirements and deliver designs on time.
- Revise designs based on client or project feedback when required.
Requirements
- Proven experience in DIALux Evo lighting design.
- Ability to read AutoCAD drawings and project layouts.
- Strong understanding of lighting standards, lux calculations, and LED lighting applications.
- Experience in architectural, commercial, or outdoor lighting projects is preferred.
- Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
