Job Description

Position Title: Digital & Analytics Lead

Job Location: Prabhadevi, Mumbai

Qualifications Required: BTech/BE/ME

Work Experience: 12 – 15 Years

Job Responsibilities

Smart Manufacturing / Industry 4.0 Implementation
Lead deployment of:

IoT platforms - IP21
Advanced analytics and AI/ML in manufacturing
Automation integration (PLC/DCS/SCADA connectivity)

Drive plant digitization (connected assets, real-time monitoring)
Enable closed-loop operations through integration of IT & OT
Data & Analytics Enablement
Establish data architecture (data lakes, historians, integration layers)
Ensure data governance and standardization across plants
Drive real-time dashboards, control towers, and KPIs
Enable advanced analytics use cases:

Predictive maintenance
Yield optimization
Quality prediction
Plant Performance & Operational Excellence

Drive KPI improvement programs through effective utilization of SAP PM and other digital tools

OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness)
Throughput and yield
Energy efficiency
Downtime reduction

IT-OT Integration
Ensure seamless integration between:

ERP (SAP S/4HANA)
Historian systems (IP21)
Shop-floor systems (PLC/DCS)

Define and implement enterprise architecture for manufacturing systems
Enable real-time data flow from plant to enterprise systems
Cybersecurity & Compliance (OT Security)
Drive industrial cybersecurity practices (aligned to IEC 62443, ISO)
Ensure secure connectivity of OT systems
Support audit compliance (ITGC, PSM-related systems)
Manage risks related to connected manufacturing environments
Vendor & Ecosystem Management
Manage relationships with:

Technology providers (SAP, AspenTech, etc.)
System integrators and consulting partners

Evaluate emerging technologies and solutions
Lead RFPs, solution selection, and contract governance
Change Management & Capability Building
Drive change adoption across plant teams
Train personnel on digital tools and systems
Build internal digital capabilities
Promote a data-driven culture across operations
Innovation & Emerging Technology
Track and pilot emerging technologies:

AI/ML, GenAI in operations
Digital twins
Edge computing
autonomous operations

Run proof-of-concepts (POCs)and scale successful solutions
Benchmark industry best practices
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with department and functional heads across functions to align initiatives with business priorities.
