Role Overview: We are looking for an experienced and technically sound Senior DGPS Surveyor to join our geospatial team. The role demands proficiency in operating Differential GPS (DGPS)/GNSS equipment, handling ground control point (GCP) collection, and integrating field data with drone mapping and GIS platforms.
Key Responsibilities: Conduct DGPS/GNSS surveys with high positional accuracy for land, infrastructure, and aerial mapping projects. Establish and collect Ground Control Points (GCPs) and Check Points (CPs) for drone-based surveys. Manage survey planning, base station setup, RTK/PPK configurations, and field execution. Perform topographic and cadastral surveys using total stations and DGPS equipment. Validate and process field survey data using GIS, AutoCAD, and survey software. Collaborate with drone pilots, GIS analysts, and project teams for seamless data integration. Prepare and maintain field records, coordinate sheets, and daily logs. Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, safety protocols, and project timelines.
Required Qualifications: Diploma/Degree/Any Graduate. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in DGPS-based surveys Leica, Trimble etc. Strong understanding of coordinate systems, georeferencing, and projections (WGS84, UTM, etc.). Familiarity with drone survey workflows and ground control point integration. Proficient in survey tools and software such as: - QGIS/ArcGIS - GNSS post-processing tools (e.g., TBC, Magnet Tools, EZSurv)
Preferred Skills: Experience with UAV-based mapping and data fusion with DGPS surveys. Knowledge of topographic, alignment, and boundary surveys. Ability to train junior surveyors and assistants. Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills. Willingness to travel and stay at project sites as required
