About the Role

The LV Sales Building Segment role is responsible for driving business growth within the building industry by executing targeted sales strategies, managing key accounts, and supporting the introduction of new products. The role requires strong market insight, strategic customer engagement, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to achieve regional business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Segment Strategy & Business Planning
  • Develop, implement, and monitor strategic sales plans for the Building Segment in line with regional objectives.
  • Identify growth opportunities, define execution roadmaps, and ensure alignment with the overall LV business strategy.
  • Account Acquisition & Retention
  • Drive conversion of targeted accounts (MCL) and improve share of wallet within existing customer base.
  • Identify, prospect, and acquire new accounts to expand the segment footprint.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure sustained engagement and satisfaction.

  • Market Intelligence & Product Support
  • Provide continuous market intelligence on competitor moves, pricing trends, and emerging technologies in the building industry.
  • Recommend new product introductions or enhancements based on customer needs and market gaps.
  • Support internal teams by sharing customer insights that contribute to product development and portfolio refinement.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with Sales, Business Development, and Product Management teams to support effective execution of strategies for prioritized products/sub-segments.
  • Participate in planning, forecasting, and review meetings to drive coordinated actions across functions.
  • Ensure seamless communication between field teams and central functions.

Qualifications

  • B.Tech / B.E. in Electronics/Telecommunication / Electrical and Electronics / Electrical
  • Experience: 7 15 years

Required Skills

  • Strong knowledge of the building industry, its stakeholders, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication skills with fluency in English, Hindi, and relevant regional languages.
  • Proficiency in MS Office tools and working knowledge of SAP, SFDC, and other sales automation platforms.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and customer engagement capabilities.

  • Demonstrated leadership qualities with the ability to influence and guide stakeholders.
  • Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • High level of ownership, self-motivation, and ability to deliver results with minimal supervision.
