Job Description
Sales Strategy and Market Development
- Develop a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with the academy's short- and long-term goals.
- Define target markets, pricing strategies, and prepare accurate sales forecasts.
- Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and growth opportunities.
- Leverage insights to refine sales tactics and identify new business avenues.
- Pursue partnerships, collaborations, and other opportunities to expand market reach and revenue streams.
- Collaborate with internal teams to guide product and service development based on market feedback.
Sales Leadership and Operational Excellence
- Recruit, train, and lead a high-performing sales team aligned with strategic objectives.
- Provide direction, mentorship, and motivation to ensure consistent performance.
- Implement systems to monitor sales performance and track progress against KPIs.
- Generate periodic reports with insights and recommendations for senior management.
- Develop and manage the sales and business development budget effectively.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards.
Client Engagement, Branding, and Collaboration
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Act as the primary point of contact, addressing client needs and concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with marketing to develop sales collateral, campaigns, and promotional material.
- Ensure all communications and materials align with the academy's brand identity.
- Support branding and positioning strategies to enhance market presence.
- Lead client and partner negotiations, ensuring contracts meet company standards and legal requirements.
Team Management & Succession Planning
- Manage and develop staff, including performance management, training, and career development.
Create and maintain a robust talent pipeline to ensure succession planning (1:2 ratio).
Sustainability
- Oversee corporate governance within the assigned region, ensuring alignment with organisational principles, policies, and regulations.
- Promote judicious use of natural resources and adhere to the organisation's environment, health, and safety policies, objectives, and guidelines.
- Drive the organisation's sustainability initiatives, working towards achieving established targets.
Anti Bribery Management Systems (ABMS)
- Follow the ABMS roles and responsibilities details as prescribed on the ABMS manual.
- Understanding of ethical standards and the importance of integrity in business practices.

Education
- Graduate/postgraduate or Global Equivalent Degree in Management, Business Administration, or related field.
Experience
- 10-15 years of proven and extensive experience in Business Development, Sales, and the Education sector, with strong multicultural exposure and a demonstrated ability to lead and manage high-performing teams.
- Hands-on experience in global markets, including India and the UAE, with a keen ability to understand and adapt to the dynamics and expectations of diverse international markets.
