Job Description
We are looking for a seasoned Finance professional to lead our Finance & Accounts vertical at the DGM/GM level. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the Highway/EPC sector, managing financial operations across multiple site locations.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Financial Controllership: Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including monthly/quarterly closing and finalization of balance sheets as per Indian Accounting Standards.
- Project Costing: Monitor Cost vs. Budget for highway projects; perform variance analysis and suggest cost-optimization strategies.
- Treasury & Banking: Oversee fund mobilization, working capital management, and liaison with banks for credit facilities and BG/LC limits.
- Statutory Compliance: Ensure timely filing of GST, Income Tax, and TDS. Coordinate with auditors for statutory and internal audits.
- Accounts Receivable/Payable: Efficiently manage subcontractor billing, vendor payments, and client (NHAI/MORTH) billing reconciliation.
- MIS Reporting: Prepare and present high-level MIS reports to the Management on project profitability and cash flow forecasts.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Qualification: CA (Chartered Accountant) is mandatory.
- Industry: Must have significant experience in Infrastructure, Roads, Highways, or EPC.
- Technical Skills: Expert in ERP (SAP FICO preferred) and Tally.
- Leadership: Ability to manage a diverse team of accountants across various project sites.
