Role Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Senior FP&A professional to lead financial planning, budgeting, performance analytics, and board-level reporting for a large-scale power business (₹5000+ crore). The role requires deep financial expertise, strong modeling capability, and the ability to partner with business and leadership teams to drive strategic decision-making.
Major KRAs:
Lead FP&A function,drive strategic financial planning, forecasting, and performance management.

Financial Planning & Budgeting
- Lead preparation of annual O&M budgets across plants and corporate functions
- Drive CAPEX planning aligned with capacity expansion and regulatory frameworks
- Ensure adherence to cost benchmarks and regulatory norms.
Long-Term Financial Modeling
- Develop integrated financial models covering:
- P&L
- Balance Sheet
- Cash Flow
- Shareholder returns/dividends
- Support tariff-based and regulated return models (where applicable).
Budgeting - Budget monitoring in SAP (Monthly)
- Working knowledge of SAP and budgeting reports of Fund Management module in SAP.
- Uploading Capex/Department wise O&M budget in SAP on Financial Year basis.
- Maintenance of budget data in SAP and attending to various requests received from user departments and resolving the issues
Performance Monitoring & SAP Governance
- Monitor budget vs actuals through SAP (monthly cycles)
- Ensure budgetary control over PRs/POs and financial approvals
- Maintain strong governance and audit-ready documentation
Board & Committee Reporting
- Prepare quarterly board and audit committee decks
- Deliver structured insights with focus on:Variance analysis,cost efficiency,Regulatory compliance
Financial Controls & Risk Analysis
- Identify financial risks in operations and capital deployment
- Ensure strict adherence to internal controls and PSU frameworks
Incumbent Profile:
- Chartered Accountant (10-12 years) with first attempt.
- Working with a large turnover conglomerate> 5,000 Crs INR
- Experience in large-scale infrastructure / PSU / regulated environments
- Strong command over financial controls, SAP, and structured reporting
