Qualification: CA / CMA / MBA with 10 to 20 years experience.
GST Compliance:
Filing of returns (all the GST compliance has to be done by in-house team) on time, viz; GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, ITC-04, GSTR-9 & 9C, Form-A issue and collection, EGM tracking, GST refund. Review all the transactions related to GST (viz; HSN Codes, supply invoices, input invoices, debit notes, credit notes, supplier invoices outstanding > 180 days, e-invoice – IRN and QR Code generation, RCM, etc.,), ensure availing of eligible ITC, ITC reconciliation with books V/s GSTR-2B, follow up with suppliers who are not filed GST returns and advice payable department to hold the payment to the extent of GST, recording of monthly closing entries in SAP, match Electronic cash and credit ledger balances with portal balance. Line wise e-way bill reconciliation, Liaison with GST departments and timely respond to the department notices / demands / letters. Execute LUT ahead of time and any other tasks related to GST compliance.
Income tax:
Ensure correctness of TDS / TCS deductions or collection and payments, filing of TDS / TCS returns on time, issue and collection of TDS / TCS certificates, match Conso files with SAP chart of accounts. Tax planning, advance tax payment, transfer pricing, prepare STI and form – 3CD, arrange data for income tax return filing, Reply to income tax notices / scrutiny / provide information to auditors and department on time. And others related to income tax compliance.
Audit and General accounting:
Do Co-ordinate with internal and statutory auditors, ensure there should not be any adverse audit observations in their reports and ensure submission of management reply on time, implement ICFR, inventory physical verification, valuation of inventory as per accounting standards, preparation of financial statements in line with accounting standards / IGAAP / IND-AS, and any other assignments management may assign as per the organization needs.
Fixed assets:
Maintain fixed assets register, asset tagging, calculation of deprecation as per company act and income tax act, assets physical verification on quarterly basis.
EOU Compliance:
Ensure 100% EOU compliance, verification of records, viz; HSN Code, B-17 bond, re-credit, Form-A Total imports with material consumption, re-export permissions, e-BRC, QPR, APR, Annexures, Scrap approval (Process scrap as per SION), Duty payable on ECN scrap. DBK, RODTEP, Customs BG, RCMC renewal, AEO, Status holder certificate, IEC Updates, imports intimation to EPC on daily basis, GR waivers, Half yearly reports to EPC, additional premises approval, NFE, LUT, permission for new product from CSEZ, maintain separate books of accounts (sales, purchases, and inventory, etc.,) for EOU and DTA (separate financial statements contains, viz; TB, P & L, BS and Cash flows, etc.), permission for DTA sales from EPC/CSEZ, export documents (SB, Airway bill / Bill of lading, EGM updating) and any other tasks related to EOU compliance.
SAP S/4 Hana: Hands on work experience in SAP is mandatory.
MIS and Updates:
Track all the updates (Notification, circulars, changes in law and act, etc.) regularly related to GST, Income tax, Customs, DGFT, CSEZ and anything related to compliance, do take all the preventive measures in order to implement those changes ahead of time which will be applicable to INDIC, and create awareness of those changes to concerned team and ensure smooth operations.
MIS: Weekly compliance tracker and ensure all the MIS are provided to the management in a desired timeline related to compliance (MIS interval: daily, weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly and yearly).
Office records: Ensure all the statutory payments (viz; EPF, ESIC, PT, LWF, TDS, TCS, GST, Income tax, DG tax, Customs, Property tax, and etc.,) and compliance (GST, Income tax, EOU, DGFT, Customs, CSEZ, EPC, ROC, Cost records and others) related office records are maintained in good manner (hard and soft copies), and have separate trackers for all the notices received and responses submitted by the company.
