Role Description
The DG Technician role at Urban Vault is a full-time, on-site position based in Bengaluru. The DG Technician will handle day-to-day tasks which include monitoring, maintaining, and ensuring the efficient operation of diesel generators (DG). Responsibilities involve conducting periodic maintenance, troubleshooting operational issues, performing diagnostics, and ensuring compliance with safety and operational guidelines. Collaboration with the facility management team and providing technical support for power systems will also be a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of Diesel Generator (DG) systems, including operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Understanding and ability to follow safety protocols related to electrical and mechanical operations.
- Ability to conduct regular diagnostics, inspections, and preventive maintenance of equipment.
- Skills in problem-solving, technical repairs, and handling emergency power situations effectively.
- Basic familiarity with facility operations and supporting tasks in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Relevant technical certification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering is preferred.
- Proven experience in handling DG systems and related equipment is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work on-site and address urgent requirements during operational hours.
