DFT Senior Engineer

This is a full-time on-site role for a DFT (Design for Test) Senior Engineer, based in Hyderabad. The DFT Senior Engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and verification of design-for-test strategies for complex chips. Working closely with design and verification teams, the engineer will analyze testability, execute scan insertion, create test patterns, and validate their functionality. Additional responsibilities include driving design improvements, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and optimizing test coverage for silicon success. Collaboration with cross-functional teams for debugging and resolving test-related issues is a key aspect of the role.

• Strong knowledge of DFT methodologies, including scan insertion, ATPG (Automatic Test Pattern Generation), and BIST (Built-In Self-Test)
• Experience with EDA tools like Synopsys, Cadence, or Mentor for DFT implementation and test pattern generation
• Proficiency with hardware description languages (Verilog, SystemVerilog)
• Debugging and problem-solving skills, including silicon bring-up and failure analysis
• Understanding of physical design flow, timing analysis, and constraints
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, or a related Engineering field
• Experience working with advanced technology nodes and familiarity with the latest industry standards is highly desirable
