DevSecOps Engineer

Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced DevSecOps Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2-7 years of experience in the job market context of India and possess strong skills in security, development, and operations. The DevSecOps Engineer will be responsible for ensuring the security, reliability, and performance of our systems and applications.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement security measures to protect systems and applications
• Collaborate with developers and operations teams to integrate security into the software development lifecycle
• Perform security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities
• Monitor and analyze security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents
• Develop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standards
• Work with compliance teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements
• Automate security tasks and processes using scripting and other tools
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• 2-7 years of experience in DevOps, security, or a related field
• Experience with security tools and technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, vulnerability scanners, and SIEM solutions
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.)
• Strong understanding of security principles and best practices (OWASP, NIST, CIS, etc.)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
