DevSecOps Engineer

Key Responsibilities and activities:

. Design, implement and monitor enterprise-grade secure fault-tolerant infrastructure.

. Work with cross-functional teams in design, development and implementation of enterprise

scalable features to support platform and infrastructure security requirements, including

environment monitoring and incident remediation.

. Working closely with InfoSec teams to ensure organizational best practices are followed.

. Assist the team in creating practical demonstrations of proposed solutions and demonstrating

them to other members of the team

. Integrate newly developed and existing applications into private, public and hybrid cloud

environments

. Automate deployment pipelines in a scalable, secure and reliable manner

. Implement and integrate security in our CI/CD pipelines using tools like sonarqube

. Improvise the security posture of our cloud infrastructure and enable engineering teams to

improvise on application security

. Drive the security initiatives across the engineering teams at Helpshift

. Have a culture of automation where any repetitive work is automated

. Help grow the team by mentoring and interviewing other talented engineers that want to join us.

Skills required

. 5+ years experience in a similar role - Cloud Engineer, IT Administrator, Systems Engineer,

DevOps

. Experience with automation/configuration management tool (Jenkins using Groovy scripting,

Terraform, Ansible or an equivalent)

. Experience in Kubernetes (EKS, KUBECTL, HELM).

. Hands on in source code management tools like Git, Bitbucket, SVN etc

. Should have working experience with monitoring tools like Grafana, Elasticsearch, SPLUNK, or

any other monitoring tools/processes.

. Understanding of self-healing/immutable microservice based architectures, cloud platforms,

clustering models, networking technologies.

. Good knowledge of AWS cloud and securing AWS infrastructure

. Great interpersonal and communication skills

. Self starter and be able to work well in a fast paced, dynamic environment with minimal

supervision
