DevSecOps Engineer

• Operate and maintain automated configuration management and patch deployment.
• Perform asset and patch management to ensure compliance, minimize vulnerabilities, and maintain system integrity.
• Deploy asset discovery, mapping, and dependency tracking across on-prem and cloud infrastructure.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enforce security, compliance, and operational best practices across the enterprise.
• Prioritize and deploy patches based on CVEs (Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures), ensuring critical vulnerabilities are remediated promptly.
• Maintain a patch compliance dashboard and reporting system to track patch status, overdue updates, and risk exposure.
• Design and operate secure CI/CD pipelines with embedded verification, scanning, and security controls.
• Integrate application, container, and infrastructure security tools throughout the SDLC.
• Perform L3-level troubleshooting for complex Linux, networking, and infrastructure problems.
• Develop automation scripts and tools using Python, Bash, and RESTful APIs to improve operational efficiency.
• Implement automated monitoring, log ingestion, alerting, and incident response workflows.
• Build and maintain containerized workloads using Docker and orchestrate deployments with Kubernetes.
• Integrate and manage security platforms such as Trend Micro Vision One, container security solutions, and vulnerability management tools.
• Utilize Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions to support automated build, test, and deployment pipelines.
• Work with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP) leveraging their native security, key management, and compliance services.
• Configure and maintain observability stacks (ELK) and dashboards for proactive monitoring, vulnerability detection, and remediation.
