DevOps Test & Build Engineer

Description

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Test & Build Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development and operations, with a focus on building and deploying applications efficiently and reliably. You will work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure that our software delivery processes are streamlined and optimized for performance.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the software build and deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain build scripts and tools to streamline the build process.
• Collaborate with development and QA teams to define testing strategies and ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
• Monitor and troubleshoot build and deployment issues, providing timely resolutions.
• Conduct performance and load testing to ensure system scalability and reliability.
• Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
• Maintain documentation of build processes, test cases, and deployment procedures.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in DevOps, Build Engineering, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Groovy.
• Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Knowledge of configuration management tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
• Experience with version control systems, primarily Git.
• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and networking concepts.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
