Job Description
Mandatory Skills
- 5+ years of experience as DevOps engineer
- Strong hands-on expertise with GitLab CI/CD
- Good knowledge of migration from Jenkins to Gitlab
- Scripting skills: Bash, Python.
- Infrastructure automation using Ansible.
- Strong experience with Docker and containerized deployment
- Good experience with Linux-based deployment environments.
- Solid knowledge of Git branching and release strategies.
- Awareness of scheduling tools like Tivoli
- Experience/knowledge on quality and monitoring tools like Sonar, Grafana
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline automation is a must.
- Candidate must be proactive and does not require a push every time, self-driven
- Knowledge of working in Agile & Scrum model is a must to have. Should have knowledge of working in sprints.
- Candidate must have agile process hands on experience , must have JIRA in day-to-day work.
- Should be quick learner and self-starter. Should be inquisitive about the program and actively participate in discussions around process and engineering improvements
- Great interpersonal and communication skills
- Can work independently with minimum supervision
- Good Communication and analytical skills
- Flexible and adaptable working style to work with multiple stakeholders
- Open to work in UK Shift (10 AM to 9 PM IST with 8 hours of productive work)
Desirable
- Exposure to AWS
- Experience in legacy-to-modern DevOps transformation
- Certification in Banking domain
Education Qualification: B.Tech or MCA
