DevOps & Release Management Lead
Noida/Bangalore, India (Onsite)
Seeking an experienced DevOps & Release Management Lead to oversee end-to-end software releases across web, mobile, SaaS and cloud products. This role bridges development and operations, ensuring smooth, timely, and high-quality deployments while supporting multiple agile teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate full release cycles across Dev, QA, Staging, UAT, Pre-Prod, Prod and DR.
- Plan release schedules, manage risks, track progress and resolve release issues.
- Implement and improve release processes, automation and tooling.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, product and architecture teams.
- Maintain dashboards, workflows and approvals using Jira/Confluence.
- Ensure proper QA, deployment readiness, rollback and DR planning.
- Manage containerized deployments (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud-native releases.
- Communicate release plans and updates to stakeholders at all levels.
Skills & Experience
- Strong background in DevOps or software engineering.
- Hands-on with Azure Pipelines, Jenkins, Terraform, cloud platforms and automation.
- Experience with branching/merging strategies, container orchestration and environment setup.
- Prior work with distributed agile teams and global stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving and stakeholder management.
Preferred
- Exposure to Agile SAFe, PI planning, start-up environments or EdTech.
- Relevant certifications (Scrum, SAFe).
Education
BE/B.Tech/MCA/M.Tech or equivalent.
