Purpose:
These DevOps OFSAA Engineers are responsible for the operational support, maintenance, and enhancement of OFSAA (Funds Transfer Pricing). They manage server patching, database maintenance, environment provision and security compliance across all production and non-production environments hosted on AWS
Experience:
- Previous experience of working Oracle OFSAA (Financial Services Analytical Applications) or similar financial data platforms
- Candidate should have Infrastructure experience with OFSAA
- Experience of working on Unix. Shell scripting will be an add on.
- Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure management
- Good to have experience in AWS and DevOps
Essential capabilities:
- Manage and maintain OFSAA/FTP environments, including performance tuning, session management, and storage monitoring.
- Execute and coordinate OS server patching cycles across all environments using central Jenkins
- Handle OFSAA application deployments including app and tech deploy procedures
- Manage security compliance and credential rotations across all AWS hosted OFSAA servers
- Respond to infrastructure incidents including database connectivity issues, application, web and api server issue and tomcat service issues
Skills:
- Good written and Verbal Communications
- Knowledge of OFSAA Platforms (DB, APP, API and Web)
- Knowledge of SQL ( writing and tuning Oracle queries)
- Strong Linux/Unix system administration (RHEL 8)
- Understanding of AWS services (EC2, RDS, ACM, Route53, S3, VPC and so on)
- Proficiency in writing shell scrips for automation
- Good to have knowledge of infrastructure as Code using terraform for AWS resource management
- Good to have knowledge of CI-CD pipelines including Jenkins
Qualification Requirements:
- IT graduate with strong infrastructure and database administration
- Knowledge of banking IT security and compliance requirements
