Good to Have:
- Certifications Any certification in AWS DevOps, Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- Programming Languages: Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and potentially other languages like Java
- Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Infrastructure as Code: Expertise in tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
- CI/CD: Understanding of CI/CD principles and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
- Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Datadog or Prometheus.
- Linux System Administration: Strong Linux system administration skills.
- Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
- Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role**
- Responsible to leverage DevOps to increase its ability to deliver application modules and services at high velocity by evolving and improving services at a faster pace.
- Will bridge the gap between IT Operations, Quality Assurance, and Development
- Will manage DevOps tool such as Mastercraft to manage the development to operations lifecycle of the entire project.
- Develops and implements DevOps strategies, tools, and processes to streamline software development and deployment.
- Facilitates communication and collaboration between development and operations teams.
- Automates tasks like infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, and deployment.
- Designs and implements continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Manages the deployment, networking, and scaling of containers using tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implements monitoring and logging solutions to track application and infrastructure performance.
- Performs root cause analysis of production errors and resolves technical issues.
- Configures and maintains software-hosting infrastructures using tools like Chef, Puppet, Ansible, or Salt Stack.
- Manages source code using version control systems like Git.
