DevOps - Infrastructure Engineer

• We are seeking an experienced DevOps - Infrastructure Engineer with over 5 years of expertise to join our dynamic team in the banking sector.
• This role is pivotal in ensuring the robustness, security, and efficiency of our banking infrastructure, supporting our mission-critical applications and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage scalable, secure, and high-availability infrastructure solutions.
• Oversee the deployment, maintenance, and performance tuning of servers, storage, networks, and cloud services.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, identify issues, and implement optimizations to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment process.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
• Integrate and manage version control systems (eg, Git), and continuous integration tools (eg, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and banking regulations (eg, PCI DSS, GDPR).
• Implement security best practices for infrastructure, including identity and access management, encryption, and threat detection.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Collaborate with software development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
• Provide technical guidance and support to development, QA, and operations teams.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and impact on banking operations.
• Develop automation scripts and tools to enhance infrastructure management and operational efficiency.
• Utilize scripting languages (eg, Python, Bash, PowerShell) for task automation and configuration management.
• Implement comprehensive monitoring solutions to track system health, performance, and security.
• Generate reports and dashboards to provide visibility into infrastructure status and key metrics.

Qualifications:

• bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or Infrastructure Engineer role, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.

Preferred Skills :

• Proficiency in managing cloud platforms (eg, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong experience with containerization technologies (eg, Docker, Kubernetes).
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools (eg, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
• Solid understanding of networking, firewalls, VPNs, and security protocols.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (eg, Terraform, Ansible).
• Proficiency in scripting languages (eg, Python, Bash, PowerShell).
