This is a permanent role with a Series A–funded product startup building data-intensive platforms.

We are hiring for a valued client of The Socials.

Role Overview

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer (Mid–Senior) with strong experience in cloud infrastructure and data platforms to build, operate, and scale production systems from the ground up.

This role combines core DevOps ownership with hands-on data infrastructure operations.

Key Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain AWS-based cloud infrastructure
Operate and scale Kubernetes (EKS) workloads
Manage data infrastructure platforms such as Kafka and Airflow
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for reliable deployments
Ensure high availability, monitoring, and operational excellence
Handle production incidents and system reliability

Required Skills

Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud services
Experience with Kubernetes (EKS) and containerized applications
Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
Hands-on experience with data infrastructure, including:

Kafka
Airflow
At least one of: Trino / Presto / ClickHouse / Druid / any Data Warehouse
Spark or Flink

Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins / GitHub Actions / GitLab / ArgoCD)
Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability
Strong Linux, troubleshooting, and production support skills

Nice To Have

Experience with multi-cloud environments
Exposure to compliance or security best practices
Experience working in early-stage or greenfield products

A core DevOps engineer who has worked closely with data platforms and enjoys owning infrastructure end-to-end in a fast-growing product environment.
