Overview
Sedin Technologies seeks a seasoned Head of Devops practice to lead a new strategic business unit focused on delivering DevOps services and Cyber Security consulting to mid-market clients across US, Europe, and India.
This P&L-responsible leader will build high-performing teams, drive business growth, and ensure world-class delivery excellence.
Key Responsibilities
P&L Ownership & Business Leadership :
- Full P&L accountability for the DevOps & Cyber Security Services unit, including revenue growth, profitability targets, and cost management.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategy for mid-market clients in US, Europe, and India.
- Identify market opportunities, set pricing models, and achieve quarterly/annual business targets.
Capability Building & Team Leadership
- Recruit, mentor, and scale high-caliber teams of DevOps engineers, cloud architects, security consultants, and delivery managers.
- Build end-to-end capabilities across CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, cloud migration (AWS/Azure/GCP), container orchestration (Kubernetes/Docker), and cyber security services (vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, compliance, security operations).
Business Development
- Hunt for new logos and expand existing client relationships in mid-market segments.
- Lead RFPs, proposals, and client presentations across US, Europe, and India time zones.
- Build strategic partnerships with cloud providers, security vendors, and technology alliances.
- Achieve client acquisition targets and maintain healthy pipeline coverage.
Delivery Excellence
- Ensure on-time, on-budget, high-quality delivery across all engagements.
- Implement standardized delivery frameworks, methodologies, and quality gates.
- Drive client satisfaction (NPS/CSAT) and secure repeat business/long-term contracts.
- Manage escalations, risks, and change requests effectively.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Professional Background :
- 15+ years in IT services with 8+ years in leadership roles managing P&L for DevOps/cloud or cyber security practices.
- Proven track record delivering DevOps transformation and cyber security consulting to mid-market clients (50-500 employees, $10M-$500M revenue).
- Hands-on experience across US, Europe, and Indian markets with understanding of regional compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, DPDP Act, etc.
Technical Expertise
- Deep knowledge of DevOps toolchain (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Prometheus/Grafana).
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and hybrid/multi cloud strategies.
- Exposure to cyber security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, SOC 2, PCI-DSS) and services (penetration testing, vulnerability management, cloud security posture).
Leadership & Business Acumen
- Demonstrated P&L leadership with revenue growth from $5M+ portfolios.
- Experience building practices from scratch and scaling to multi-million-dollar businesses.
- Strong business development skills with client relationships in target geographies.
- Ability to work across US/Europe/India time zones (flexible hours required).
Educational Background
- B.Tech/M.Tech or equivalent in Computer Science/IT from a reputed institution.
- MBA preferred for business leadership roles
