Description
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer with a strong background in Python to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for automating and streamlining our operations and processes, as well as building and maintaining tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or ELK Stack.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration of development and operations.
- Implement security best practices in the DevOps processes and infrastructure.
- Document processes, runbooks, and technical designs for future reference.
Skills and Qualifications
- 6-9 years of experience in DevOps engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in Python for automation and scripting tasks.
- Strong experience with cloud services such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Hands-on experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively.
