About Role/Project:

We are looking for a motivated DevOps Intern who is eager to build a strong foundation in DevOps practices and cloud technologies. This role is ideal for candidates who have a solid understanding of Linux, networking, and version control, and are interested in learning Azure-based cloud infrastructure, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines in a real-world environment

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing and maintaining Linux-based systems.
  • Support basic networking tasks including troubleshooting connectivity issues.
  • Work with Git for source code management and version control.
  • Gain hands-on exposure to cloud fundamentals, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Learn and apply Docker container concepts in development and deployment workflows.
  • Assist in understanding and supporting CI/CD pipelines.
  • Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis of system and deployment issues.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve automation and reliability.

Required Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of Linux fundamentals (file system, processes, permissions, basic commands).
  • Knowledge of networking basics (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, ports).
  • Familiarity with Git and version control concepts (clone, commit, push, pull, branches).
  • Understanding of cloud computing fundamentals (preferred: Azure).
  • Conceptual knowledge of Docker and containerization.
  • Conceptual understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging mindset.
  • Willingness to learn, experiment, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Good to Have (Optional):

  • Exposure to Azure services (VMs, Storage, Networking, Azure DevOps).
  • Basic scripting knowledge (Bash, PowerShell, or Python).
  • Familiarity with YAML pipelines or Infrastructure as Code concepts.
  • Academic or personal projects related to DevOps or cloud technologies.
