DevOps Engineer - VP

• Vice Presidentlevel DevOps Engineer role focused on building enterprise-wide DevOps capability and culture
• Drives adoption of DevOps centre of excellence practices to create long-term commercial value
• Plays a strategic role in accelerating learning journeys and improving customer outcomes

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor and coach feature and platform teams to advance DevOps maturity and capability
• Assess current DevOps technical capabilities and identify gaps across teams and platforms
• Design and deliver learning workshops and training to uplift DevOps practices
• Enable continuous improvement by promoting modern DevOps tools, techniques, and processes
• Measure, analyse, and visualise flow of work and value delivery using DevOps metrics
• Advise teams on the most suitable DevOps capability enhancements based on needs and readiness
• Contribute to the evolution of DevOps policies, standards, practices, and tooling
• Ensure decisions are supported by data-driven insights, return on investment, and value measures
• Support intelligent cost management through commercially focused DevOps decision-making

Required Experience

• Proven experience in portfolio management support roles within technology environments
• Strong understanding of different portfolio types and delivery models
• Relevant portfolio management certification such as PRINCE2, Scrum, Agile, or SAFe
• Hands-on experience deploying business-critical systems into production environments
• Deep knowledge of portfolio management theories, models, and practices in Agile or DevOps contexts
• Advanced experience using enterprise tools such as MS Office, MSP, Planview, Oracle, and SharePoint
