DevOps Engineer

ROLE OVERVIEW:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, automating, securing, and optimizing cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines across Azure and AWS environments. You will collaborate closely with Development, QA, and Product teams to improve deployment efficiency, system reliability, and operational excellence.

KEY RESPONSILIBILITIES:

·        Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure across Azure and AWS.

·        Build, optimize, and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and related tools.

·        Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code practices.

·        Partner with Engineering and QA teams to streamline software delivery and release processes.

·        Monitor system health, application performance, logs, and cloud resources.

·        Implement and maintain cloud security, access controls, backup, and disaster recovery strategies.

·        Manage virtual machines, networking, storage, and cloud-native services.

·        Perform root cause analysis and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues.

·        Support high-availability architectures, capacity planning, and load balancing initiatives.

·        Drive continuous improvement through automation, observability, and operational best practices.

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

·        3+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Systems Administration.

·        Strong experience with Azure and AWS cloud platforms.

·        Hands-on expertise in CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.

·        Experience with source control systems including Git.

·        Working knowledge of C#, SQL, and application deployment workflows.

·        Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware, Azure Virtual Machines, and AWS EC2.

·        Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, monitoring, and logging.

·        Proficiency in PowerShell and/or other automation scripting languages.

·        Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

·        Strong verbal and written communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

·        Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet.

·        Exposure to containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

·        Experience with Jira, Confluence, and Agile delivery methodologies.

·        Knowledge of Site Recovery, Disaster Recovery, and Business Continuity planning.

·        Cloud certifications in Azure and/or AWS are highly desirable.
