DevOps Engineer Job Description
- Architect, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform using Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform.
- Build, maintain, and enhance CI/CD pipelines to enable reliable, automated application builds, testing, and deployments.
- Partner with development and quality assurance teams to support smooth releases and consistent environment setup.
- Monitor cloud resources, applications, and services to ensure high availability, performance, and security using GCP monitoring and logging solutions.
- Automate routine operational and maintenance tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Diagnose production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement long-term corrective actions.
- Apply cloud security best practices, manage IAM policies, and ensure compliance with healthcare and regulatory standards.
- Package applications using Docker and manage containerized workloads with Kubernetes (GKE).
- Maintain clear technical documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
- Continuously evaluate GCP services and recommend improvements aligned with organizational and healthcare objectives.
