About The Role
We are looking for a motivated Junior DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure and Linux systems. The ideal candidate will assist in automating deployments, managing cloud infrastructure, and supporting CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and reliable software delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, configure, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure (VMs, Storage, Networking, AKS, etc.).
- Work on CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar tools.
- Manage and maintain Linux-based servers, including performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
- Automate repetitive tasks using shell scripting or Python.
- Containerize applications using Docker and assist in managing Kubernetes (AKS) clusters.
- Support developers by maintaining consistent build and release environments.
- Implement basic monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
- Follow security and compliance best practices for Azure infrastructure.
- Collaborate with senior DevOps engineers for environment setup, automation, and deployments.
Required Skills & Experience
- 12 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar cloud/automation role.
- Hands-on knowledge of Azure services Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure App Services, Azure Monitor, and Azure DevOps.
- Strong experience with Linux administration and shell scripting (Bash/Python).
- Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts and version control (Git).
- Familiarity with Docker and container concepts.
- Knowledge of networking, DNS, load balancing, and firewall basics.
- Eagerness to learn Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / ARM Templates / Bicep).
Nice To Have
- Experience with monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Grafana, Prometheus).
- Basic understanding of Kubernetes and Helm charts.
- Exposure to Windows Server environments.
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals / Azure Administrator Associate certification.
