About the role-

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Application provisioning, troubleshooting, code deployment, monitoring tool (Splunk) and automation such as Python or Shell scripting along with experience in Java-based application deployment and optimization.

The ideal candidate should have experience in Application provisioning, troubleshooting,

code deployment, monitoring tools (Splunk (prefer) or Grafana or Prometheus etc) and automation such

as Python or Shell scripting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with development teams to streamline the development and deployment of Java-based applications.
• Setting up the alerts for Java application issues.
• Monitor system performance and availability, ensuring reliability, scalability, and security.
• Automate routine tasks and optimize processes to improve efficiency.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure fast, safe, and reliable code deployment.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance the development lifecycle, from code to deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Ensure security best practices across the infrastructure and during application deployment.
• Must have 4-6 years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with development and deployment of Java-based applications.
• Experience with monitoring and logging tools like (Splunk (prefer) or Grafana or Prometheus etc.)
• Good experience on deployment tools (ARA / Harness/ Jenkins).
• Good experience in Python or shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Travis CI.
• Expertise in containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
