DevOps Engineer

Role Overview

TechioSoft Systems is seeking an experienced Dev Engineering Lead to drive end-to-end technical delivery across complex, enterprise-scale digital transformation initiatives.

This role blends hands-on engineering, architecture leadership, and delivery ownership, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions. You will work closely with Project Managers, Architects, QA, DevOps teams, and stakeholders to ensure successful execution from discovery to go-live and beyond.

You will own technical feasibility, architecture decisions, engineering quality, and production readiness, while mentoring teams and driving engineering excellence in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

Project Initiation & Discovery

Review business requirements and validate technical feasibility

Define and document High-Level Architecture (HLD)

Evaluate technology stack, integrations, and solution approaches

Provide cost estimates and effort sizing (early-stage 50%)

Identify technical risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies

Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and enterprise standards

Execution & Engineering Leadership

Own Low-Level Design (LLD) and sprint-level technical planning

Lead engineering teams on design patterns, coding standards, and best practices

Conduct code reviews and architecture validations

Resolve complex technical challenges and design trade-offs

Ensure adherence to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and engineering governance

Collaborate across cross-functional teams (QA, DevOps, Security, Product)

UAT, Go-Live & Support

Investigate and resolve critical defects during UAT within SLA timelines

Support business users and QA teams during validation cycles

Validate production readiness and deployment strategies

Lead technical activities during go-live and hyper-care phases

Diagnose and resolve production issues, ensuring system stability

Project Closure & Handover

Ensure completion of code, documentation, and technical deliverables

Lead knowledge transfer to support and operations teams

Contribute to continuous improvement and lessons learned initiatives

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience in software engineering and development

35 years in a Technical Lead / Engineering Lead role

Strong expertise in system design and architecture (microservices, APIs, integrations)

Hands-on experience with modern tech stacks (e.g., Java, .NET, Node.js, React)

Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred)

Strong understanding of Agile, SDLC, and DevOps practices

Proven ability to lead teams and deliver enterprise-scale applications

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in cloud transformation and legacy modernization

Exposure to AI/ML-driven systems

Experience working in public sector or regulated environments
