Job Description
Must Have:
System Administration Experience
- Hands-on experience managing and administering Jenkins, GitLab, and Control-M environments.
CI/CD Pipeline Design and Implementation
- Develop, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD.
- Automate end-to-end software delivery workflows from code integration through deployment.
Version Control and Collaboration
- Utilize GitLab for source code management, branching strategies, and collaborative development workflows.
Containerization and Orchestration
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerizing applications and managing containerized workloads.
Scripting and Programming
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Ansible, Python, or Bash for automation and custom tool development.
Troubleshooting and Problem Solving
- Diagnose and resolve technical issues across development, staging, and production environments.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code (IaC).
Responsibility of / Expectations from the Role
- CI/CD pipeline implementation and management.
- Containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
- IAC and security monitoring
- Supporting user queries for CI/CD pipelines.
- Replace manual job scheduling.
- Automating batch scheduling.
