DevOps Engineer

Job Summary – L1/L2

The DevOps Engineer L1/L2 supports daily DevOps activities including deployment tasks, CI/CD execution, AWS resource handling, Linux operations, and monitoring. Strong fundamentals in Linux, AWS, Jenkins, and Shell scripting are required.

Key Responsibilities (L1/L2)

AWS Cloud – Mandatory

• Manage AWS compute & storage: EC2, S3, ECS
• Monitor resources using CloudWatch
• Assist in load balancer configuration (ALB/ELB)
• Support basic networking tasks (Security Groups, VPC basics)

CI/CD

• Create & maintain basic Jenkins pipelines
• Resolve build and deployment issues

Automation

• Write Shell scripts for routine tasks (mandatory)

Linux

• Basic Linux administration & troubleshooting
• Manage logs, crons, processes

Monitoring

• Configure CloudWatch dashboards & alarms
• Assist with log monitoring

Containers

• Deploy containers on ECS
• Basic Docker operations

Documentation

• Maintain SOPs, deployment notes & runbooks
