Job Summary L1/L2
The DevOps Engineer L1/L2 supports daily DevOps activities including deployment tasks, CI/CD execution, AWS resource handling, Linux operations, and monitoring. Strong fundamentals in Linux, AWS, Jenkins, and Shell scripting are required.
Key Responsibilities (L1/L2)
AWS Cloud Mandatory
- Manage AWS compute & storage: EC2, S3, ECS
- Monitor resources using CloudWatch
- Assist in load balancer configuration (ALB/ELB)
- Support basic networking tasks (Security Groups, VPC basics)
CI/CD
- Create & maintain basic Jenkins pipelines
- Resolve build and deployment issues
Automation
- Write Shell scripts for routine tasks (mandatory)
Linux
- Basic Linux administration & troubleshooting
- Manage logs, crons, processes
Monitoring
- Configure CloudWatch dashboards & alarms
- Assist with log monitoring
Containers
- Deploy containers on ECS
- Basic Docker operations
Documentation
- Maintain SOPs, deployment notes & runbooks
