Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Intelligence & DevOps professional to join our growing technology team at SI2 Tech. This role bridges data analytics and infrastructure automation, requiring expertise in CI/CD pipelines, database scripting, and modern DevOps tooling. The successful candidate will design, build, and maintain BI and analytics platforms while ensuring reliable, automated deployment workflows. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across data engineering, application development, and operations to deliver scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Must Have Skills:

Apache Superset: Hands-on experience with Apache support on AWS EKS and on-prem Kubernetes.
RDBMS: Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL and MS SQL
Apache Airflow: Hands-on experience with Airflow for workflow orchestration and scheduling of data pipelines.
GitLab: Proficiency with GitLab for source control, branching strategies, code reviews, and pipeline configuration.
CI/CD Pipelines: Design, implementation, and maintenance of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment pipelines.
SQL & PL/SQL: Strong proficiency in writing complex queries, stored procedures, triggers, and performance tuning.
Python Scripting: Automation scripting using Python for ETL, data validation, and operational tasks.
Node.js: Server-side scripting and integration using Node.js for backend services and tooling.
Shell Scripting: Strong command of shell scripting (Bash) for system automation, deployment, and monitoring tasks.

Good to Have Skills:

ETL & Analytics Tools: Experience with Techno-Functional aspects of ETL processes and Analytics platforms (e.g., Informatica, Talend, Power BI, Tableau).
Cloud Platforms: Exposure to AWS, Azure, or GCP services for deployment and infrastructure management.
Containerization: Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, or container orchestration tools.
Infrastructure as Code: Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
Monitoring & Logging: Exposure to Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or Datadog for system observability.
Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and Scrum/Kanban practices.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using GitLab to streamline deployment processes across environments.
Develop and orchestrate data workflows using Apache Airflow to support BI, reporting, and analytics initiatives.
Write, optimize, and debug complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts for data extraction, transformation, and reporting needs.
Develop automation scripts in Python, Node.js, and Shell to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure smooth code integration, testing, and release cycles.
Monitor pipeline performance, troubleshoot failures, and proactively implement improvements to ensure system reliability.
Implement and enforce DevOps best practices, including version control, code quality standards, and security compliance.
Support ETL processes and BI platforms by working closely with data engineers and analysts on data quality and availability.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of architectures, pipelines, runbooks, and standard operating procedures.
Participate in rotational shifts to provide production support and resolve critical incidents within defined SLAs.
