DevOps Engineer - SE I

As a DevOps Engineer (Software Engineer I) at Orange Health Labs, you will support the infrastructure powering innovative digital health solutions. Roles and Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining and monitoring cloud infrastructure on AWS and GCP services like Firebase and RTDB
• Support infrastructure changes under guidance from senior engineers
• Monitor and troubleshoot microservices architecture, participate in incident response and root cause analysis
• Implement and maintain security best practices and compliance standards
• Support network configuration tasks including VPC setup, security groups, and connectivity troubleshooting
• Set up and maintain monitoring dashboards and alerts using tools such as New Relic or Datadog
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines, debug build and deployment issues, optimize pipelines
• Write scripts and automation tools to reduce manual effort
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code initiatives using Terraform or CloudFormation
• Perform routine database maintenance, backups, and optimizations under guidance
• Document technical processes, runbooks, and infrastructure configurations

Skills We Are Looking For:

• Solid understanding of AWS cloud platform services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) with basic GCP exposure
• Hands-on experience with Docker containerization and familiarity with Kubernetes orchestration
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools like Datadog, ELK stack, or New Relic
• Basic networking knowledge: VPC, subnets, security groups, load balancers
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and configuration management tools
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, or JavaScript) for scripting and automation
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases
• Understanding of CI/CD principles and version control using Git
• Awareness of cloud security best practices
