Role: DevOps Engineer (Remote)

Payout: $30 - $170/hour

Role Overview

We are hiring a DevOps Engineer to own infrastructure, CI/CD, and reliability for a high-growth engineering team. In this role, you will design and operate production systems including Kubernetes clusters, cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and security tooling. The ideal candidate is automation-first, observability-heavy, and security-aware.

Key Responsibilities

- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

- Architect and scale Kubernetes clusters, cloud infrastructure, and networking.

- Build or operate security tooling, detection-as-code, and vulnerability management.

- Write Terraform, Ansible, or Pulumi to codify infrastructure.

- Own uptime, observability, alerting, and incident response.

- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve release velocity and safety.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- 3+ years in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering.

- Deep experience on AWS, GCP, or Azure.

- Kubernetes in production environments.

- Scripting in Python, Go, or Bash.

- Understanding of CI/CD, automation, and deployment workflows.

- Strong problem-solving and incident response skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Security certifications such as CISSP, OSCP, or AWS Security Specialty.

- Observability stack experience (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry).

- Service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) or Nomad experience.

- GPU cluster or ML training infrastructure background.

- Experience with Zero Trust architecture or infrastructure hardening.
