Job Overview
We are looking for aDevOps Engineer (35years experience)to design, build, andoperatereliable, scalable, and automated delivery platforms for our client's production systems.
This is ahands-on DevOps engineering role, focused onCI/CD, cloud infrastructure, container orchestration, automation, observability, and reliability engineering. You will work closely with application developers, platform engineers, and client stakeholders to ensure smooth deployments, stable environments, and continuous improvement of DevOps practices.
The ideal candidatedemonstratesstrong ownership, excellent communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the right attitude toward problem-solving and continuous learning.This role ishybrid, based inPune, with alignment toIST orCET working hours.
Responsibilities:
- Design, build, andmaintainCI/CD pipelinesto enable reliable and repeatable application deployments
- Own and managecontainerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetesacross environments
- Implement andmaintaincloud infrastructure(Azure / AWS / GCP at least one) following DevOps and cloud-native best practices
- Automate infrastructure, deployments, and operational tasks usingscripting and Infrastructure as Code
- Ensurehigh availability, performance, and securityof production and non-production environments
- Implement and improvemonitoring, logging, and alertingto proactivelyidentifyand resolve issues
- Collaborate closely withapplication developers and engineering teamsto enable faster releases and improved system reliability
- Maintainclear documentation, runbooks, and architectural diagrams for DevOps processes and platforms
- Communicate effectively with client stakeholders, explaining technical topics in a clear and structured manner
- Continuously improve DevOps maturity throughautomation, standardization, and process optimization
RequiredQualifications
- 35 years of professional experienceas a DevOps Engineer, Platform Engineer, or SRE
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Dockerand containerization
- Kubernetes(deployments, services, scaling, troubleshooting)
- CI/CD tools(Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)
- Experience working withcloud platforms(Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Hands-on experience withscripting and automation(Bash, PowerShell, Python, or similar)
- Understanding ofDevOps practices: CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, monitoring, incident management, and release automation
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills(verbal and written)
- Positive, proactive attitudewitha strong senseof ownership and accountability
- Ability to work effectively in ahybrid setup from Pune
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience withInfrastructure as Code(Terraform, ARM, Bicep, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Exposure toobservability tools(Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Azure Monitor, CloudWatch, etc.)
- Experience withsecurity best practices(secrets management, RBAC,network policies)
- Knowledge ofGitOpsand modern deployment strategies (blue-green, canary, rolling deployments)
- Experience working withinternational clients and distributed teams
- Exposure toITIL / service delivery frameworks(from a DevOps collaboration perspective, notsupport-heavy)
