What We're Looking For
- Hands-on Experience:
- Kubernetes operations in a major cloud
- Terraform (including best practices like workspaces/modules), Git, GitOps
- CI/CD pipelines and safe deployment strategies
- Docker and container orchestration basics
- Strong Understanding Of:
- DevOps principles, SRE concepts, Developer Experience
- Cloud-native design, networking, security baselines, least-privilege IAM
- Observability patterns and tools
- Programming and Scripting Skills:
- Practical Python or TypeScript for services and tooling
- Shell scripting, plus one of Bash/PowerShell
- Quality Mindset:
- Test-first approach, automated verification, performance testing
- Production change management and incident handling
Nice to Have
- Experience with Argo CD, Helm, and service mesh
- Familiarity with Terragrunt and Terratest
- Operations of Grafana stack at scale
- Configuration management (Ansible/Puppet/Chef/Salt)
- Automation tools: Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI
- Collaboration with Data Scientists in the AI industry
- Serverless patterns, API management, GraphQL
- Open source contributions
